Integrated Management System
Identical quality standards of all products and services throughout the worldwide organization of a supplier is an essential aspect in customer relationships and part of customers’ expectations all over the globe.
Therefore, Voith Hydro has implemented an internal management system that guarantees the control of identical quality standards and their certification worldwide at all locations at the same time.
On the basis of the risk and quality management system, which focusses on the requirements of ISO 9001, analogical requests have been integrated for environmental mangement, ISO 14001 and for occupational health and safety, OHSAS 18001.
Voith Hydro’s integrated management system is continuously controlled by TÜV SÜD (Technischer Überwachungsverein, the major auditing enterprise in Germany). The company’s headquarter as well as all operating units have been certified according to the following international standards in spring 2007:
ISO 9001 quality management
ISO 14001 environmental protection
OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety
In a continuous improvement process we aim for better process reliability and efficiency to always meet our customers requirements. We therefore use traditional as well as state-of-the-art techniques for analysis and process improvements like the Six Sigma methodology.
